The Killers have done 3 christmas tunes through the years and the newest one features Sir Elton John and Neil Tennant from Pet Shop Boys. It's called Joseph, Better You Than Me and you can watch and listen to it here (I think it's kind of awful). However, the one from 2006 is way much better. It's not that much of a ballad and sounds more like a normal The Killers song. The video is great too (Watch).

The Judy Garland version of Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas is the original recording but they are so many covers of this song. A really wonderful one is the Coldplay version.

oh janni... das bild! die lieder! ich bin ja sehr lernfähig, aber was zu viel ist. also versteh mich nicht falsch, es ist schön zu viel, aber es ist eben zu viel. und ich muss mich erst gewöhnen. das letzte mal, dass ich mich so intensiv mit weihnachten auseinandergesetzt habe war als ich neun jahre alt war und mit meiner mama jeden tag weihnachtslieder geträllert habe. also mal abgesehen vom letzten jahr. aber dieses jahr treiben wir es ja ein wenig auf die spitze.... aber schön. schön ist es auf jeden falls. den killers gefällts ja scheinbar auch. typisch.
hahaha, ich sehe es so: weihnachten ist DIE zeit zum übertreiben. Vor allem sind ja mal die ersten zwei lieder also raveonettes und the killers eigentlich nicht so weihnachtlich vom sound her.
das bild ist für mich einfach so weihnachtlich - ich hab nämlich auch in meinem zimmer so eine bunte lichterkette an mein eines lack-regal hängen, hihihi! ich bin sowie so überrascht das ich das eine killers lied sogar mag. oder vielleicht ncht, weil 2006 war ja noch ein gutes the killers-jahr....
